The Hoff Calls on Bingo Night

There’s nothing more fun than when celebrities make special appearances as bingo callers. The LiverpoolEcho.com reported that David “The Hoff” Hasselhoff was the guests caller for an even at the Baltic Triangle’s Camp and Furnace.

Hasselhoff made his special appearance on Saturday for an evening edition of Bongo’s Bingo, a bingo-themed club night, which typically runs during the week.

About 700 fans were thrilled to see him dressed in a Baywatch-style lifeguard t-shirt as he serenaded them.

As for the bingo, The Hoff, who has never played bingo before, called the numbers for the Bongo’s Bingo session.

Jonny Bongo, co-founder of Bongo’s Bingo, told the ECHO that it was The Hoff’s idea to don the Baywatch costume.

“We met him before the show and we sat and had a good conversation with him after. He’s lovely, full of energy. He was just really enthusiastic and up for fun”, Bongo said. “He’d heard of bingo but had never played it before.”
