Mecca bingo played host to a famous pair from Newcastle last Saturday night! Ant and Dec's saturday night takeaway visited a local bingo hall in Bolton to spring a suprise on one lucky bingo player.

The famous pair sent their now infamous 'jiggy bank' to the mecca bingo  hall to suprise an unsuspecting woman who was enjoying a game of bingo with her friends. The scene was set on live tv and the woman became aware she had won the chance to ride the jiggy bank when 500 toy pigs were dropped on her head!

The winner (Cathy Scott, 44) rode the giant pig and managed to shake a staggering £3,219 out of a possible £5000 from the pig in just one minute! The best bit was she had to ride the pig to shake the cash free!

Tamara Gilder, producer of the TV show, said: "It's been brilliant; we were given such a warm welcome by Mecca Bingo and Bolton."
