quite an interesting biz decision for USA Today
OpenWager Inc. and USA TODAY have partnered to release USA TODAY Bingo Cruise.
This is the first step into the social gaming market for the American media company. The Bingo game will be available for iPhone, Android and tablet users via Google Play and the Apple App Store.
"We are thrilled to partner with USA TODAY in bringing USA TODAY Bingo Cruise to one of the largest and most influential media organizations in the US," said John Cahill, CEO of OpenWager. "Our company is committed to helping USA TODAY delight its readers with this exciting new game while opening a new and valuable line of mobile-based digital revenue."
USA TODAY Bingo Cruise takes players to various ports on an ocean liner allowing them to move through levels and unlock new areas to explore. Players are also awarded spins on the Fortune Wheel to receive random bonus amounts.
"USA TODAY is excited to elevate its games presence to the next level by introducing the USA TODAY Bingo Cruise app," said Derek Murphy, General Manager and Executive Vice President of USA TODAY.
