Mecca Bingo is bringing the prizes back once again in their much-loved Mecca Dream Come True promotion and to celebrate, their offering one lucky person the chance to win a £20K home makeover by none other than Claire Sweeney! TV star Claire Sweeney (famed for her role in Brookside), and a team of design gurus will work their magic on up to 3 rooms in your home, all thanks to the UK’s popular bingo site.

A TV crew will be present to record the day and the wonderful transformation which will be completed sometime between October and November. Whether you fancy sprucing up your lounge, dining room or bedroom, the team will be on hand to deliver the ultimate of makeovers!

But there can only be one winner and in order to get your name in the hat, someone will need to nominate you for the ‘unsung hero’ promotion. Maybe you have a friend or relative who has gone above and beyond for you, if so, this is your chance to thank them!

As part of the popular Mecca Dream Come True campaign, Mecca Bingo is scouring the land asking people to nominate their unsung hero – someone who has done something remarkable. From helping out in the community to raising money for charity, they want to hear about it, and you have until September 25^th to get those nominations in!

Claire Sweeney took to Facebook on Sunday to explain a little about the campaign, she said: “Now the last few months have been a challenging few months for everyone but the positives that have come out of it was that we’ve got to know our neighbours more, our friends, we’ve all come closer. I’ve spent more time with my family, I know I’ve had a lot of time with my little boy, which has been fantastic.”

She continued: “Mecca Bingo is inviting you to nominate your unsung hero, whether it’ll be your best friend who works or volunteers for the NHS, or a neighbour who’s done your shopping for you, or just someone who stopped and chatted to you. It’s your chance to say thank you to who you think deserves it and you could win them a home makeover and some cash for yourself!”

To nominate your friend or family member, all you need to do is fill in the form and make a 60-second video explaining to Mecca Bingo why you think your nominee deserves the home makeover, be sure to include why you think they would love it too!

There are six prizes available:

• 1x Home makeover. Please note that this prize does not include a kitchen or bathroom renovation. The rooms to be renovated will be renovated at the discretion of Mecca Bingo who reserve the right to refuse renovation of a room. The Promoter’s decision is final. The person who nominated the winner will receive a £250 Next voucher.

There will be 4x runners-up prizes:

• One prize each; 1x fashion makeover and 3x £500 M&S vouchers.
