There’s a new marketing firm on the job with Costa Bingo. They have hired MWO to handle their advertising account.

MWO has been brought up to speed by Costa Bingo’s parent company, bgo, to develop a TV campaign set to air in September. The new campaign is believed to be focused on celebrities. Previously VCCP Blue the marketing for the bingo site.

The cost of advertising has been a total of £1.5m according to Nielsen but the cost is expected to sky rocket to£10m throughout the year. The pitch has been in the works since last year.

Alex Holt, the joint founder of bgo, said: "Costa has always been one of the leading bingo brands and with the appointment of MWO and the budget we are allocating to the brand campaign, we are confident that this will continue."

Other high profile projects on MWO’s plate include Dreams, the bedroom furniture retailer, who took the agency on last year to handle its £24 million advertising account.
