The Toronto-based online gaming company Intertain has recently acquired the rights to Parlay Games Incorporated’s latest bingo software, Source Code. The Canadian e-gaming company spent around CAD$ 2.8 million on the said acquisition and is now an owner of the software source code and the domain name Bingo.ca. The deal was a natural continuation of the Intertain Group’s active pursuit of further expansion through organic growth and acquisitions.

"Intertain has acquired some of the leading bingo brands in the world during the past 12 months & it has been our plan to eventually own a proprietary bingo platform to provide the Company with options & flexibility for our current & future business," said John Kennedy FitzGerald , president & chief executive officer of Intertain.

The newly acquired Bingo.ca domain will provide the online gaming company with the ability to launch a Canada-wide free-play bingo network, aiming at provincial lottery corporations allowing them to expand their reach to other territories and markets.
