She is a retired confectionery manager, and she has revealed that she had only logged on because she was having trouble dropping off to sleep. The bout of insomnia paid great dividends and now she said that she can enjoy her retirement years “in style”.
The lucky winner said that she and her husband are now going to visit the big city that they have always longed to see. No, not London; they are off to New York. Following this she intends to share some of her Gala Bingo cash with her kids and grandkids and has even put aside some cash for new furniture and eye surgery treatment.
A Gala Bingo spokesperson said that they pay out an astonishing £62 million in prize money every month.
