A bingo player who had just won a share in a $200 bingo prize was struck and killed in a hit-and-run car accident in Frankston. She had won just minutes before when she was hit by an allegedly stolen Mercedes.

Jenny Moller, 54, of Frankston, was crossing the street on Skye Road after she had left the Friday Karingal Bowling Club bingo session.

Bob Stevens of the bingo club said Ms Moller had been a "battler" had two primary school-aged children. Ms Moller had been a regular on Friday night bingo sessions for about eight years.

"She struggled through life — I only knew her through bingo — but she really enjoyed her bingo," Mr Stevens said.

"On her last game of bingo she shared a $200 prize and she told me she had had a win at the pokies centre on Thursday. You just never know," he said.

According to Mr Stevens, Ms Moller's loved to play bingo and often would bring her daughter to during the school holidays. He said she was friendly and sat with a group of friends every week.

Ms Moller's husband was waiting in his parked car for her as she crossed the street to meet him. Rushed to the hospital after the ambulance service treated her she but she later died.

Police are looking for a white high-performance E63 Mercedes Benz four-door sedan, with a black glass roof. It is believed the driver hit another car before hitting Ms Moller.
