One lucky Beacon Bingo player is celebrating his £100k win which broke the Guinness World Record for the largest cash prize won at a single venue.

The 35-year-old carwash owner, Shaban Binaku from North London, said: “I just cannot believe that I have won it, I still feel like I am dreaming. This money will change mine and my family’s life completely, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

“I have family here in London and in Kosovo, Serbia, and it’s hard sometimes as they struggle for extra money. It’s nice to know that I can help and I can treat them at Christmas and in the New Year, they really deserve it.”

He has previously won £10,000 and £5,000 at the bingo hall which he visits a minimum of three time each week.

General manager of the Cricklewood Beacon Bingo club said: “We’re absolutely delighted for Shaban, who not only has £100,000 in time for Christmas, but also has a Guinness World Record title to his name as well!"
