One of the biggest online sports wagering firms around has just increased in size with a big takeover.
Betfred is a sizable operation which has recently put out TV adverts and a mobile gaming initiative. Now they have snapped up BuckyBingo.co.uk off the Buckingham Bingo company.
This means that the Betfred.com site is now joined by the Buckybingo and BOGOF bingo ones on the firm’s roster. All three sites already run on the same betting platform – Playtech’s Virtue Fusion. The Betfred online empire is controlled from Gibraltar.
The Betfred site covers a lot of different sports such as football, horse racing and tennis, so we will need to wait to see how they integrate the established bingo sites into the group. So far the word is that it will be business as usual on the Bucky site.
The official Betfred statement said the purchase will be “highly beneficial” to BuckyBingo and that they will be looking to build on their “current experience and strength” and have a bright future together. For the total bill for the buyout a figure in the region of half a million pounds is being talked about.
The BuckyBingo site has a lot of fun games such as Mafia Millions and Clover Rollover and they also offer a lot of interesting prizes and promos every week.
