In November 2014, UK games developer Wagermill completed a merger with software supplier The Gaming Lab. Together, the companies have launched a remote gaming server to distribute gaming content, including HTML5 and Flash games, across international markets. The delivery of games now comes in a brand new format via GECO RGS as a result of the partnership. The company has two primary offices based in Australia and the United Kingdom.
GECO RGS is the remote gaming server provided to both operators and developers. In terms of online gambling operators, the server provides a connection to games from multiple providers that the company partners with and allows the addition of customized games. Gaming products are designed to support both desktop, smartphones and tablets.
The company does have a small selection of its very own Slot Games including Coco-Nuts, Islands in the Sun, HEX, Sunshine Reed, Scatter Brains, Sassy Bingo, Nauticus, Meerkat Mayhem, Treasure Pond, Treasure Compass, 88 Coins and Time Gamble. Many of the games contain basic graphics 2D cartoonish graphics but its HEX Slot was developed with 3D graphics and a Halloween theme. Slots offer exciting features such as stacked wilds, free spins and interactive bonus games.
Core Gaming, a partner of GECO as of early 2015, provides an RGS platform containing over 100 games from 3rd party providers allowing the company to distribute additional content such as Roulette, Blackjack, Video Poker and Scratch Cards.
Several other partnerships have been made with some of the top gaming companies in the industry like Advanced, The Games Company, Virtue Fusion, Lightning Box Games, OpenBet, Black Cow Technology, Bet Digital, MX Digital, Spacebar Media, Games Warehouse, NYX Interactive, Inchinn and Game Weavers. The newly formed company will likely have even more deals in the works with announcements of additional partnerships to continue making industry headlines.
GECO Gaming is the vehicle to get the games to operators. This does not include a series of promotions or set prizes unless its third party software partners offer jackpot games. For example, a jackpot Slot would offer the same progressive jackpot across all brands featuring the game.
GECO Gaming is licensed by the Alderney Gaming Control Commission and the UK Gambling Commission with additional licensing in other jurisdictions to come. Along with GECO RGS, operators receive a full support package. The company also provides developers using its platform with assistance with compliance and localization.
