Tombola Bingo, strengthened by their recent announcement of their Cannonball Bingo game, are throwing some of their best stuff at us in the coming week. Each weekday they have a different special promotional game to throw at us, with prizes and game play varying hugely from day to day, and not a cannonball to be seen if such things give you the willies. The special games run between 9 and 10 pm every night, so there should be no kids around to distract you from playing and winning. Plenty of enjoyment, few distractions, just settle down with a glass of something nice and drinkable and play, play, play.
On Mondays they have a game based on the classic board game that doesn’t even require a board – yes, it’s Battleships. You must remember this from school. Draw a grid on an exercise book, place a few “ships” at strategic points on the grid, get a friend to do likewise. Then you take turns to call out grid points and attempt to “sink their battleship”. Well, this is the same, only with added Bingo. Tuesdays are 75-ball night, with £100 for a full house.
Wednesday nights are Roller-Coaster bingo nights. The recent advent of Tombola’s Cannonball bingo may have served to put the Roller Coaster in the shade, but not so long ago this game was as innovative and as fresh as Cannonball Bingo is now. Players who have the correct bingo balls fall into their roller coaster car can win prizes up to £100. Then on Thursday it’s time to flex your general knowledge muscles (I think they’re somewhere in your head) and play some Quiz Bingo. Unlike on the other nights, the fun here goes on for four hours between 8pm and midnight.
Finally, the 80-ball game on Friday gives you the chance to win £200 on a full house. As good an excuse for that night out to wait until Saturday, when you could have a nice little wedge of spending money in your back pocket.
