Players of Mecca Bingo across the country are now offered the chance of sharing one million pounds jackpot money, as part of Mecca Million game. This means that the prize money of one million pounds that Mecca Bingo offers is shared amongst the six people calling out the lucky numbers.
And with the first contest of 2008, six players share the money, where two people managed to claim more than a quarter million pounds each. One of these lucky big winners is Pauline Davies of Prescott, who has won 264,000 pounds.
This is an impressive win for her, considering the fact that she is a relatively new member of her local Mecca Bingo club. She has been a member here for only a month. The second large winner was another woman from East Kilbride, who claimed 264,000 pounds in the UK bingo competition.
The next two winners of these six winners earned themselves 150,000 pounds each while the last two winners managed to make their purses richer by 100,000 pounds each.
