Playtech reaches $100 million in the year 2007

One of the leading online games developer, Playtech has declared that its revenues for the month of 2007 was very strong, and had topped $100 million. This was because the total revenue of the company had reached $103.6 million with an 86% increase because of the 58% increase in casino revenues and 26% increase in online poker revenues.

 

This improved results in Playtech was reached after the company was made to withdraw from the US market because of the implementation of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. In fact, the latest results of Playtech don’t include any contributions from the US market.

 

To date, Playtech has about a 650 strong staff for its product development and other services which has made the games from Playtech Flash and download capable. As its contribution to the online bingo industry, Playtech has now started Flash bingo action and an improvement of its live gaming software.

 

It is because of all these excellent results that the non-executive chairman of Playtech, Mr. Roger Withers has commented that he is pleased to declare another year of strong and full results for Playtech where all its key performance indicators have performed well ahead of its targets.
