ITV To Air Free Bingo Show

Written by: Nikola Zugic on 01/06/2008 16:00

ITV has announced that it will broadcast free to play bingo games every night for an hour between Tuesday and Saturday. The show is essentially seen as a replacement of the Play TV slot that was dropped because of criticism of premium rate phone number games that were being offered. The new show offers a free alternative to this instead. For one hour a night, starting at midnight, Melinda Messenger and Michael Underwood will present the bingo format show called “bingo night live”. There will be three main games as well as numerous mini games, as well as entertainment from the two hosts.

Opening night jackpot will start at £25,000 and regular prizes will stretch into the thousands. In order to play, you need to register on the ITV website and then download free bingo cards ready for the action to begin. Michael Underwood will then call the numbers while Melinda Messenger will offer small side games throughout the show. Other features include a display of the luckiest areas in the country provided by statistician Nichola Dixon.

The first game will start this Wednesday and run five nights a week every week and looks to offer a great way for bingo players to enjoy some free cards and the chance to win some serious money along the way.
