Online bingo is not as simple as it might seem! This type of bingo means you have to download (duh) and install a piece of software before you can access the bingo games on the site. Flash based bingo is the most popular form of bingo bingo. I would say about 90% of the worlds online bingo sites use flash based bingo to run their sites. These bingo sites require no extra software or installation from bingo players which is great. The sites have great games and great designs, they are equally as attractive (if not better) then the downloadable bingo software. The flash based bingo sites seem to be more popular because they are simpler for the bingo player and still offer the highest quality of game play.
These two types of bingo site both have their strengths and weaknesses, in our opinion the flash based bingo games are the way to go. You do not need to install any extra software which means it is less complicated, it also means you can play on any computer without having to install bingo software (great for when you are at work;-) ).
