Heard of beginner’s luck? There’s always that person in a group who gets to win at something he or she tries for the first time. That’s what we call beginner’s luck and it’s not uncommon to find those kinds of people in the world of bingo, be it live or online. One example is this new winner who played at Mecca Bingo.
This lady had her beginner’s luck last April 29th. It was her first time to try out bingo at the Mecca Bingo Club in Wandsworth. This lady from Richmond, Louise Middlemist went along with her friends after work and headed to one of the most popular bingo clubs in the UK. It was her first time to go with them to one of the largest bingo operators in the country. And it was indeed a classic example of beginner’s luck. It was her first time to play and she won!
Louis Middlemist may not have won a huge jackpot but she still won a considerable amount of money on her first time of playing bingo at such a bingo club. Now that’s certainly beginner’s luck, isn’t it? She never played at bingo halls and the first time she did she won. When their group went it, they were asked if they have already played before, since they were mostly newbies, the staff at Mecca Bingo have given them a crash course to learn about the rules and etiquette being followed in the bingo club. After that, they headed to the main room to enjoy their first game of bingo at the club. They were all laughing and joking around and people noticed that these were newbie players. But then, at the end of the session, one of the newbies, Louise Middlemist, ended up with a total of five hundred pounds of winnings. Her friends and the other bingo players there congratulated the newbie and even the bingo caller said that it was such a classic example of beginner’s luck.
