Bingo Rooms With a Gimmick

There are so many options out there when it comes to bingo room selection. How does one choose which to join? Is it down to jackpots, prizes, number of roomies or balls or something else? Let’s explore the some of the gimmicks available to us with our online bingo.

For example, I recently played a few games of bingo at Mecca and felt like I had to learn the game all over again. I played in a “Lucky Numbers” room. The gimmick in there was players were required to play a maximum number of tickets to receive three lucky numbers. The lucky numbers were given randomly or players could opt to choose their own. If a player bingo’d on a card including their lucky numbers they won a jackpot prize. Also, those with 1tg were eligible for a consolation prize of £1.50. There was a chance for a nice jackpot but the probability of your winning card containing all of your lucky numbers in combination with the number of players in these rooms makes the “Lucky Numbers” room a pass.

Another popular theme players seem to enjoy with their bingo is Deal or No Deal. The deal with this room is that the full house winner not only gets a nice prize but they get a bonus in the form of the infamous Deal or No Deal box. The banker makes them an offer on their box and the roomies cast their vote of whether it’s a deal or no deal. The winner mulls over the results and makes their choice. Hopefully they choose wisely and earn themselves a little added bonus on top of the full house prize. This is a must see.

My absolute favorite has to be Bejeweled Bingo. The room and the caller’s voice is very similar to the to the slot game. At the end of each game, players are challenged to a short game of the classic Bejeweled game. High scores earn players free tickets to the next game.

Other gimmicks available to players are Monopoly Snap, Speed Bingo and so many more. Whether it’s bingo plain and simple or some kicked up modern version, there’s definitely something for everyone when it comes to a little twist with your bingo.
